Just as it is arse, not ass; harass and integral, with no internal stress; colour not color; so it is Hedgehog Day, not Groundhog Day.
I warn you folks, you will be getting a lot of these ‘baby’ photographs as a hedgehog has just migrated into our slug and snail riven garden. I saw it first on Friday, as a very alarmed cat was delicately sniffing a breathing pin-cushion. Despite coming back with a camera within 30 seconds, it had scurried away.
Then, last night, I found it again at the front gate (again, surrounded by rattled looking cats), and snapped these photographs as it retreated under the hedge.

Ciel, nothing but the finest for Kippy. And, of course, hedgehogs never should be fed milk and bread – they much prefer a little bit of cat or dog food.
